Monterey Pop Festival, the three-day event staged in 1967. Performers included Canned Heat, Jefferson Airplane, Janis Joplin, Eric Burdon, The Who, Jimi Hendrix, Ravi Shankar & many more. Janis Joplin was definitely the star performer, in my opinion, but I loved Canned Heat.
